Job Title: SR.SPECIALIST CONTROLLER GROUP
Department & Section: Finance Department
Supporting role for the deliverables of the Controlling function. Work to bring about improvements in MIS reporting, planning and controlling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)
-Ensure accurate & timely preparation of daily, weekly and monthly management reports related to all areas of Controlling and Business Planning.
-Maintain detailed record of all periodic reports submitted to ADQ and other external agencies.
-Conduct periodic inter plant/site comparative analysis of cost, efficiency and other KPIs as per plan of the Controlling Department.
-Assist in conducting benchmarking review of various functions of ESI through identifying metrics, balanced score card method and quantifiable and qualitative measures.
-Help to implement approved financial & internal control systems at new ESI Sites to ensure productivity and efficiency in terms of Controlling function.
-Help to design and implement automated procedures and reports to facilitate periodic reporting to ADQ and other external parties.
-Review cost centres of all Departments of ESI. Help to implement approved cost centres and per ESI requirement.
-Monitor the various pricing and margin calculations being prepared and maintain strict version control.
-Review standard costs at month and quarter to propose changes based on market index movement.
-Supporting the preparation of annual business plan and monitoring adherence of the same on a periodic manner. Assist in preparation of long term, five-year plans, and financial models.
-Weekly maintaining & updating business planning models as required by the Controlling function.
Finance and Costing Facilitation:
-Study financial reporting process of ESI to propose improvements in process and outputs to facilitate the reporting for Controlling function.
-Propose benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance of plants and departments as applicable to Controlling function.
-Assist in preparation of all finance and costing reports for ADQ for review by Financial Controller and CFO.
-Prepare financial outlooks and financial forecasts with ensured compliance of local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
Technical Services Facilitation:
-Conduct regular internal control and procedure testing for various departments of ESI as per plan.
-Sales, Commercial and Marketing Facilitation:
-Calculate estimated margins based on proposed pricing for various products.
-Assist FC and CFO to prepare back up workings for pricing task force and pricing committee.
Procurement & Logistics Facilitation:
-Costing of back-to-back billet price linked fixed sales price for short term contracts with suppliers through Procurement and Logistics liaison with Controlling function.
-Help FC in calculating financial impact of IOP shipment planning.
-Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget as applicable to Controlling function.
-Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop five-year and ten-year business plans for the company for ADQ submissions.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
-Help in smooth roll out of financial controls & procedures to all new departments & locations of ESI
-Ad hoc project work for CEO, CFO, FC and strategy & business development team

Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves) Any preferred professional training (Nice to have)
-Bachelor’s degree in relevant filed
-Data mining skills
Professional Experience (Must haves) Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations (Nice to have)
7- 10 years post qualification work experience
-Minimum 5 year working experience in a Controlling function
-Experience of ERP systems & MS office with basic data mining skills
-Understanding of Manufacturing Process
-High level expertise in Excel
