Job Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
 8+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years of direct experience preferably in healthcare.
 Hands-on experience with cloud security, networking, storage, and system monitoring tools.
 Solid understanding of healthcare IT systems (HIS, EMR, ERP), infrastructure, and clinical workflows.
 Familiarity with MOH, CBAHI, JCI, SFDA, and NCA business continuity and risk compliance frameworks.
 Experience in developing and testing IT continuity strategies and recovery procedures.
Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Skills:
 Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (Arabic and English)
 Project management skills (PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus)
 Ability to work under pressure in a healthcare environment with high availability demands
 ITSM leadership, SLA monitoring, and service improvement

Job Title: Senior IT Asset Officer
Department: Information Technology Level
Reporting to: Head of Infrastructure and Operations
Job Purpose: Overseeing the lifecycle management of IT assets within the hospital, including procurement tracking, inventory control, allocation, maintenance records, and disposal. The role ensures that IT assets are properly accounted for, effectively utilized, and compliant with hospital policies and healthcare
regulatory frameworks.
Roles and Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Areas Key Activities
Organizational Accountabilities:
• Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes,procedures, and instructions
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and
productivity improvement
• Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures
• Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner
Functional Accountabilities:
 Maintain end-to-end records of IT assets (hardware and software)including acquisition, assignment, transfers, maintenance, and
decommissioning.
 Monitor asset health and coordinate proactive replacement or upgrades based on lifecycle status and hospital operational needs.
 Maintain proper asset tagging and tracking throughout the hospital departments.
 Coordinate with procurement and supply chain departments regarding IT asset purchases and deliveries.
 Verify asset deliveries against purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory updates.
 Manage storage of spare IT assets and ensure optimal inventory levels.
 Perform periodic physical inventory audits of IT assets across hospital units.
 Ensure alignment of asset records with financial and accounting systems where applicable.
 Support MOH, CBAHI, and JCI audits by providing required asset documentation and reports.
 Assign IT assets to hospital staff based on approved requests and maintain assignment records.
 Process asset transfer requests between departments, ensuring proper documentation and system updates.
 Collaborate with IT support teams to validate asset functionality prior to issuance.
 Generate regular reports on asset utilization, inventory status, warranty expirations, and replacement schedules.
 Maintain documentation of asset policies, asset transfer forms, and disposal records in line with hospital procedures.
 Provide recommendations for asset procurement planning and budget forecasting.
