Currently, we have the following vacancies for candidates with 5–10 years of experience in a Medium and Heavy Section Mill and a relevant educational background is a must.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Steel Roll Shop Supervisor
Experience in Medium and Heavy Section Mill, oversees the day-to-day operations of the roll shop, which involves planning and scheduling work, supervising a team of workers, workflow management, Safety and compliance, Quality Control, and ensuring that all rolls are prepared and maintained to meet production and quality specifications.
- Steel Production Supervisor
Experience in Medium and Heavy Section Mill, oversees daily production activities, managing staff, and ensuring that production goals, quality standards, and safety regulations are met. Key duties involve planning and scheduling work, coaching and developing employees, maintaining equipment, tracking performance, and managing resources to ensure efficient operations.
- Furnace Operator –
Experience in Walking Beam Furnace (Gas Type) with Level -1/2 Automation, Pulpit Operation in Auto Mode and Manual, Capability to Manage Major Shut Down and Refractories Repairing Work, Process Optimizations and Cost Saving.
- BD Pulpit Operator
Experience in Medium & Heavy Section Mill and Rail Mill, Pulpit Operation (Level-2) for Roughing Reversing Stand, Knowledge of Roll Pass Design, Mill Calibration, Rolling Schedule, Process Safety Equipment, Process Parameter Optimization, Trouble Shooting and Alarm Remedy, Knowledge of Major Shut Down and Periodic Maintenance Activities. Ability of identify the malfunction of Equipment’s.
- Stacker Operator (Finishing)
Experience in Medium and Heavy section mill, Pulpit Operation (Level-2), Knowledge of Process Control from Cooling Bed to Bundling Area. Responsible for execution of finish bar stacking as per production plan, Process Parameter Optimization, Trouble Shooting and Alarm Remedy in operation, Knowledge of SAP, Basic Knowledge of Finish Material Quality and Size.
- Mill Roller
Experience in Medium & Heavy Section Mill Operation, Knowledge of Mill setting of Universal Tandem Mill, Reversible Roughing Mill, Mill Calibration, Guides Setting and Rolling Bar Checking, Knowledge of welding and Gas Cutting, Crane operation, Material Handling.
- Tandem Mill Stand & Guide Fitter
Experience in Medium & Heavy Section Mill. Responsible for Accurate and Errorless Stand Assembly. Cartridge Type Universal Stand Assembly Knowledge, Work Experience in Horizontal Stand & Vertical Cassette Maintenance & Bearing Assembly. Guide assembly and setting for different Sections for Angle, Channel & Beams, Guide Maintenance, Basic Knowledge of Roll Grooves, Pendant Crane Operation, Rigging & Slinging Knowledge. Maintain all Assembly Spares Parts proactively.
- BD Mill-Stand & Guide Fitter
Experience in Medium & Heavy Section Mill. Responsible for Accurate and Errorless Stand Assembly, Cartridge Type Roughing Reversible Stand Assembly Knowledge, Work Experience in Roughing Stand Maintenance & Bearing Assembly. Roughing Stand Static Type Guide assembly and setting for different Sections for Angle, Channel & Beams, Guide Maintenance, Basic Knowledge of Roll Grooves, Pendant Crane Operation, Rigging & Slinging Knowledge. Maintain all Assembly Spares Parts proactively.
- Quality Control Inspector/ Lab
Experience in Medium and Heavy Section Mill. Responsible for all Quality Inspection of Finish Product respectively Standards, Knowledge of Dimensional & Tolerances Standards for Structures. Knowledge of Different type of Quality tests. Full Knowledge of all type of QC Lab Equipment, Maintaining all records of Audits and Follow the documentation as per Standards. Proactively identifying online defects and responsible to inform production.
- Billet Checker
Experience in Medium and Heavy Section Mill. Responsible for Proactively Billet Checking as per production plan for Rolling. Knowledge of all type of Raw Materials Sizes, Quality and Grades. Removing the defected Billets from stock and keeping the updated records. Keeping the updated records of Billets on a daily basis.
