QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/PACKAGE
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer Science,Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Exp: -5+Years in digital transformation,ERP implementation, or technology leadership
• Background in Industrial Sector is required,Steel Industry exp is highly preferred
• Package –INR 150,000/- to INR 200,000/- month net
• Reporting to – Group Managing Director
• Location: -Ethiopia (with possible travel across Africa specially Angola)
• Age:- preferably under 35 tears
Key skills:
• Proven ability to select, compare, and implement modern technologies across diverse geographies.
• Experience in managing or founding tech solutions or platforms is an added advantage.
• Previous exposure to operations in Africa or India is desirable.
• Strong project management and team leadership experience.
• Process-driven, with a strong orientation toward execution and measurable results.
• Hands-on leader with strategic thinking and deep understanding of emerging technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High adaptability and cultural awareness to work across multiple African regions.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our Group as the Head of Technology and Innovation.This is a strategic leadership role responsible for spearheading the digital transformation journey across all group companies, with a focus on industrial sectors including the steel industry. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on technical expertise, process orientation, and strategic thinking to lead enterprise-wide change initiatives, including ERP deployment, automation, and digital innovation.:
Job Description:
-Lead and execute the Group’s digital transformation strategy with measurable outcomes.
-Oversee full-scale ERP integration (e.g., Lighthouse, SAP B1) across all departments and geographies.
-Drive the organization towards a paperless, data-driven culture through digitization of core functions.
o Evaluate and implement appropriate technologies tailored to specific market needs in Africa
o Design and deliver digital tools including CRM systems, IoT integrations, data warehousing, and mobile applications.
o Build and manage a high-performing internal innovation and software development team.
o Collaborate with external consultants and developers to support specialized technology implementations
o Ensure robust IT governance, documentation, and scalable systems architecture across all initiatives.
o Champion innovation, automation, and continuous improvement practices within business processes.
o Create standardized protocols for software development, UI/UX design, and data infrastructure.
