Role Description
1) Supervise and coordinate all production activities within rolling line, including Reheating Furnace, rolling, and Finishing area. 2) Monitor equipment performance and material behavior as necessary to optimize production efficiency and minimize wastage. 3) Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications. ensure online material inspections at regular intervals to identify and address deviations from quality requirements. 4) Lead and motivate the production team to achieve production targets and quality objectives. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance. 5) Coordinate & communicate with all the agencies to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation. 6) Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks. 7) Ability to work in rotating shifts and weekends as required. 8) Maintain accurate records of production activities, prepare shift reports detailing production metrics, issues encountered, and action taken.

Role Description
1) Should have good knowledge of section rolling mill.
2) Operate the rolling mill line equipment including the mill stands, cooling beds,and operate machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. 3) Set up the rolling mill line for production runs by adjusting machine settings, roll gaps, and speeds according to product specifications and quality requirements. 4) Monitor equipment during operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency. 5) Observe product quality throughout the production process by inspecting samples, measuring dimensions, and visually inspecting for surface defects. Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure that steel sections produced meet the required specifications and quality standards. 6) Identify and solve operational issues or equipment malfunctions during rolling. 7) Work quickly and effectively with safety to resolve problems to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. 8) Cooperate with other mill operators, maintenance team, quality team, and supervisors to coordinate production activities, prioritize tasks, and address any operational issues effectively.
>MAIN PULPIT OPERATOR
Total Experience 6-10 yrs Relevant Experience 6 yrs Educational Qualifications Bsc Graduate / ITI from Electrical trade.
Role Description
1) Control and monitor the operation of the hot rolling mill from the main pulpit. 2) Continuously monitor the hot rolling process to ensure proper temperature,pressure, and speed settings are maintained for the specific material being processed. 3) Involvement in Shift activities, during section/Size change, Cobble handling,Emergency. 4) Coordinate with other members of the production team, including other operators, technicians, and supervisors, to optimize workflow and achieve production targets. 5) Inspect rolled products for defects or quality issues & take corrective actions as needed to maintain quality standards and meet customer specifications. 6) Maintain Mill shift records of production metrics, equipment settings, generate reports of load graph etc..
