worldwide. We are expanding our operations in the UAE; Al Jazeera Steel is installing a state of the Art Steel Rolling mill in Abu Dhabi- UAE.

Position: → Project Procurement Manager

Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Description
 The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities related to the project. Your main objective will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials,equipment, and services required for the successful completion of the steel rolling mill. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and contractors to manage the procurement process from start to finish.


 Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for the steel rolling mill project, in alignment with the overall project objectives and timelines.
 Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify and select reliable vendors and contractors who can meet the project requirements and deliver high-quality materials and services.
 Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to determine project procurement needs and specifications.
 Manage the entire procurement process, including RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluations.
 Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
 Monitor and track supplier performance, addressing any issues or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
 Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce project costs.
 Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers or technologies.
 Collaborate with the project management team to develop accurate project cost estimates and budgets.
 Prepare regular reports and updates on procurement activities, including progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
 Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors, fostering long-term partnerships based on trust, reliability, and mutual benefit.

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
 Proven experience as a Project Procurement Manager, preferably in the steel manufacturing or heavy industries sector.
 In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
 Familiarity with the steel industry and understanding of steel production processes is highly desirable.
 Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
 Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
 Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
 Fluency in English is required.

Position: → Document Controller 

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and organizing all project-related documents, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The role requires meticulous anon to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of document control processes.

 He/she should have a basic understanding of construction projects and documentation system
 Establishing a uniform document/drawing numbering system while adhering to company norms and requirements
 He should understand and follow those specific Document Templates Systems.
 In charge of project folder setup, folder management, formulator registries, and document and drawing number allocation.
 Liaising with and distribution project-related information with the project team and potentially external pares.
 Assist the Project team during the audit and as needed.
 Prepare ad-hoc templates reports on projects as required.
 Process and control all project document types on a day-to-day basis in an accurate and melt manner.
 Ensure that quality documentation, such as documents, drawings, RFIs, and incoming and outgoing registers, is maintained.
 File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.
 Adhere to the company’s document life cycle procedures, processes and as required by the Project Manager.
 Communicates changes to document control procedures or other relevant information to the project team in consultation with the Project Manager / Design Manager.
 Implement new Document Management systems and document management processes.
 Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documentation.

Qualification and Skills:
 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
 Proven experience in document control within a project-based environment.
 Proficient in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
 Excellent anon to detail and accuracy.
 Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
 Familiarity with industry-specific document control standards and best practices.

•B.E civil with 10 years of experience as quantity surveyor Pre- and post-tender quantity surveying, checking of Bills, QA / QC reviews, etc.


Position: → Project Store In charge

•Graduate with 10 years of experience in the Steel Industry Operations as a store in charge of the construction site/project. Experience in Stock Inventory, logistics, Inventory Management, and overseeing the entire Operations of a Project Store & Material Management).  


Position: → Auto CAD Draftsman

•Diploma in civil, having 10 years exp in drafting, shop drawing, coordination drawing, as built drawing.
